Things I Keep Telling Myself
1. I am not better than anyone else. ANYONE.
2. People don't need to be like me or agree with me -- even if that involves them thinking they're better than me.
3. I am responsible for the shape my life is in, and for the things I do. Not society, not my parents, not the government. Just me.

Very well said. You are so right.
good advice
Agree here too. Hiya Sadzi. Look at me, I'm out after dark.
If only more people would clue in to this.
Good words
I agree!
good point of view, coming from a place of power.
First of all, keep on telling yourself those things. Secondly, in the same vein, no one is better than YOU, either. And they only have THEMSELVES to look out for. So just remember that all of us are in the same boat -- we are all EQUAL, whether we are equally great, or equally screwed up. We ALL have our failures and our successes.
Great blog. Short, but to-the-point!
Great words to live by
I agree.
And also (basically like the Duchess was saying), we are not responsible for other people either. They are, like us, responsible for themselves. We can give them information. That's all.
Scary thing is...it has to be said....so many believe the opposite.

Three important truths that are difficult to realize, let alone truly apply to ones life and/or way of thinking. I wish you more success than I've had!
100% true!!!!

Very true. But why does it take some of us so long to realize it?
