How Do You View Life?
TheCrimsonNinja's got me thinking just now with their "How does it feel to be alive?" blog.
I have two friends. One day, the discussion turned to different views about life. In answer to the question "How do you view life?" we had three very different replies:
- Bob viewed llife as a chore, as something to be endured, as something to get through, if possible.
- Sharon viewed life as an adventure, with different things to be discovered and learned.
- Susan viewed life as a gift, waking with the thought of "Oh boy, I get another one!" each day.
Does any of these describe how you feel? How do YOU view life?

Combine Sharon and Susan's POV and you've got mine. Life is an adverturous gift, one that allows you to learn and explore and expand every day... You get to meet all sorts of fascinating people and trying exciting new things... I can't imagine thinking that it's a chore... How depressing and sad.
I kinda see life as it comes... I tried finding the BIG PICTURE but got lost so now I wake up each day and see what is waiting for me
proppin' adventure of course.
It is what you make of it: nothing more, nothing less. If you think it's a chore, than it's a chore. If you think it's an adventure, then it's an adventure. If you think it's a daily gift, well, then, it's that too. So I think that life is a little bit of each. ^_^
lol....yes.....ok some times i do put them on and then i'm too lazy to take them off....so i use the ol' fly
i was surprised no one noticed that earlier.
lol
youre too funny hun
Bob on the inside, Sharon on the outside.
It depends on my mood..if the sun is shining (thats a big deal here in Oregon!), if i am tired or awake, etc. I couldnt even say that there is an overarching sense of what life is about in me right now. Pretty sad, i know
Its hard to say really. My feelings on the subject would probably reflect my mood.
It depends on the moment - but, I think that overall, I know that my life is exactly what I make of it...and I choose to be open to possibility. Good question, S.
An adventure mostly... but at times it seems like an excercize in attrition, that is learning how to deal with loss as one by one we lose things -- loved ones, abilities, health, and last our very lives. Depressing, yes, but I did say I just feel that way at times. Most of the time, I'm with Sharon.
I'd say I'm like Bob...
you're only free when you die.
I live for adventure and happy times. I feel blessed because really amazing things seem to happen to me alllllll the time. I must have been good in a past life.
However, don't get me wrong. For whatever reason, depression hits me occasionally and each minute is labor-intensive.
But the REAL me inside is a thrill-seeker and loves to play!!!!!!

What a basic question! god I love basic questions!
Life is experience. When life is over, there's no experience. Crave. Seek out experience.
I view life as Mother Theresa puts it..
Life is Too Precious
Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is bliss, taste it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it.
